
Ariana Estoras
Ariana Estoras is an uri of Te Riutoto Aihe and Tane Tinorau through her grandfather Koro Davis from Waitomo. Ariana is married to Jon Estoras, and they have a 6-year-old daughter Karahuia. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Professional Practice and holds a Master’s in Science (Distinction), Poutuarongo Mātauranga Māori and Te Aupikitanga ki te Reo Kairangi.
Ariana has been an RUHT advisor providing scientific and governance expertise for both the Waitomo Caves Management Committee and the Environmental Advisory Group for the Waitomo Catchment around the Waitomo Glowworm Caves.
She is a chartered director of the Institute of Directors and holds governance experience most recently as a current Director of the state owned enterprise board AsureQuality. In her mahi as Director – Strategy, Research and Partnerships with Bioeconomy Science Institute – AgResearch she helps many iwi across Aotearoa develop their farming and whenua opportunities to meet environmental, social, economic and cultural goals.
