EDUCATION GRANTS

The Trust supports educational activities that enhance the mātauranga Māori, academic prosperity and educational success of its beneficiaries across most age groups. This includes study at intermediate, secondary and tertiary level, work related training, leadership development, and study that develops cultural knowledge pertaining to Ngāti Ruapuha and Ngāti Uekaha.

Primary, Intermediate and Secondary Grants

Grants for the 2025 School Year have now opened and close 06 December 24. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

General Criteria

To be eligible for an education grant you must be:

  • Registered with the Ruapuha Uekaha Hapū Trust
  • Enrolled in school or be in a certified home school, tertiary institution or provide proof that you are completing work related studies
  • Fill in all sections of the application form
  • Provide all supporting documents requested in the application form
  • Ensure that the information provided is true and correct
