Covid Update: We are pleased to announce that the Waitomo Glowworm Caves will be open for tours from Saturday the 23rd of May. Our taonga has had a rest during Alert Level 4 and 3 and is now ready to receive visitors again.
Please note that tours will be limited in number due to Ministry of Health guidelines and to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience. Bookings are essential. Complimentary tours for beneficiaries have been deferred until the end of the school holidays currently due to restricted visitor numbers. When complimentary tours are available please ensure that you pre-book as spaces are limited, if you do not pre-book you may be unable go through. Bookings can be made by contacting the RUHT Office 0800 525 626, Monday-Friday between 9am-4.00pm, Closed Public Holidays.
